infinity ARCHITECTURE

The Edgar B. Carter Educational Amphitheater is an outdoor demonstration area for the Auburn University Raptor Center. The stone seating area is modeled on the Graves Amphitheater on the main campus. It provides an outdoor teaching/learning space that can be used for school field trips as well as University classes. The facility is fully accessible. The demonstration area includes two elevated “mews” that serve as temporary holding areas for the birds. Parking areas for cars and buses were developed adjacent to the amphitheater as part of this project. Infrastructure for a small office building/visitor center was also included in the construction.
