Earlon & Betty McWhorter Center for Women's Athletics: Auburn, Alabama

Beginning with a tight site and a master plan for future expansion, we designed a facility which was respectful of the former facility (which burned to the ground) and the softball facility across the creek. Operating on a very tight budget, the project consisted of a prefabricated metal building with a brick exterior veneer to conform to University standards. The result is a facility which is one of the top “on campus” facilities in the country.
