Renovation of 2 level 500,000 sf mall which included a food court, parking decks, family restroom, canopy connection and new Barnes and Noble. The canopy walkway connects the existing mall with a new multi screened AMC theater. The canopy continues alongside the theater to a park adjacent to the mall. The tensile structure relates to existing structure at the lake in the park and creates a continuity in the pedestrian path. While providing a necessary function as rain and sun protection, the structure also adds energy to the total project.
